Allow cabinetry to acclimate to its new environment for a few days prior to installation. This will minimize the degree that doors might swell or shrink, allowing them to return to original dimensions once they have acclimated.
Do you have to acclimate kitchen cabinets?
Important Information about New Cabinetry. We recommend that you allow your new cabinetry to acclimate itself to the environment of your home for 30 to 60 days. During this acclimation period, you may notice some shifting of doors that may make them appear to be warped or bowed.
